Last lock 'up', first lock 'down'. Rock!

At Tåtorp, we passed our last lock 'up'. It is a 'level regulating lock', not a 'climbing the mountain lock' and as such you only go up about 20cm. It is also a manually operated lock and assistance is appreciated. When we were waiting our turn, there were a whole lot of little girls helping:

They had come with their parents on bicycles and saw this as a diversion. Unfortunately they left and I had to assist in the operation myself 😉

Before the next lock, there are some very narrow and scenic passages.

Some of which are so narrow that they are 'one way':

Unfortunately, in one of these passages we stuck a bit too much to the port side and managed to hit an underwater rock. There is no visible damage, but we still want to inspect the ship underwater. There is a shipyard in Motala where we'll try to do this in a few days' time. There will be some damage, we were going very slow (2 to 3 knots), but rocks are very hard. Probably not serious, but better safe than sorry!

After that incident we arrived at the first 'down' lock: we dropped 3.5m at Forsvik. We had planned to stay there, but the only guest moorings available were too narrow for us, so we continued to Karlsborg where we are now.
