Baltic! Laboe

Yesterday, we did the last canal stretch. Guess what we came across: the Danish Royal Yacht!
Sorry, I can't do pictures at the moment, but I'll post them later.

We were very lucky with the lock at Kiel, we could go straight in as we arrived. There were a number of other pleasure craft that looked as if they had been there for quite some time!

When the lock door opens, you are on the Baltic. We headed for Laboe, which is just a few miles away.

If the wind drops, we'll head for Bagenkop on Langeland (Denmark) later. If not, it looks like we'll be here until Thursday.

It's still bitterly cold, 13C. and it's June....

Has summer been cancelled?

Late addition: We stuck  Onbekommerd's nose outside into the Kieler Förde for a while. The wind was doable, but the sea state promised a very uncomfortable 4 hours if we were to continue to Bagenkop. So we returned to port, probably until  Thursday.
