Västervik

After emerging from the Valdemarsviken (see this morning's post), most of today's 6 hour trip was through the skärgård. On the chart:

it is quite intense concentration and at times you wonder if you are in the right place as it looks like a 'dead end'.
But it all went well, a beautiful trip in excellent conditions!

Västervik is a bit disappointing, the 'central town of the blå kusten' does not offer a lot. I stayed on board to do a few chores whilst Lyn, Gwilym and Janine went exploring. They came back with the news that the town was not really worth a visit and the supermarket is not within walking distance.

Tomorrow, we'll set course for one of the smaller harbours (this one has 300 berths and is far from full).
