This morning we decided to move on to Ærøskøbing. A two hour trip in about 15 knots of wind. When going into the wind we had a bit of water coming over the bows but otherwise it was very relaxed.
Ærøskøbing has been preserved as a typical old Danish town, where the hollyhocks ('stokrozen' in Dutch!) are in abundance and ornate doors are important.
As the weather turned out quite nice, we activated the Cobb again and had a nice 'braai'.
Tomorrow, Lyn and I plan to take the bus to Søby, about 15 KM away and walk back along part of the 'Archipelago trail'.
